The chance for isolated but strong thunderstorms will continue this evening. We already had one come through...it had lots of lightning and put down some hail in Warren, RI!
It will stay very mild ahead of the front with temperatures 50+ through the evening.
Behind the front, cooler and drier air will return for the weekend.
It's still going to be a "nice" weekend for mid-March. In fact, compared to what we've seen in past years, the weather looks great for the Newport St Patrick's Day parade on Saturday. It will be windy and dry with mostly sunny skies.
Sunday is chilly and dry with lots of sun. Morning low will be in the 20s with highs 40-45.
