After a decent warm-up today, temperatures will go back into the 20s overnight. We won’t have as much ice around as we did Thursday morning, but there still could be a few icy spots.
Friday high temperatures should be able to recover into the 40s by the afternoon.
The weekend will start dry. Saturday won’t be too bad with highs in the 40s with fairly light winds. By Saturday night, another system approaches with rain. At this point, most of the information tells us that the rain will hold off until after midnight, so Saturday early evening plans should be dry. There may be a brief period of sleet or snow, but it should change over to rain quickly.
Rain may fall heavy at times for a good part of Sunday, especially from the morning into the early afternoon.
Showers should start to move out by late afternoon or evening. Highs may get to around 50 on Sunday.
If you have weekend plans, please stay tuned for changes. especially when it comes to the timing. Obviously timing changes by just a few hours could have a big impact on your plans. -Pete Mangione
