Snow has been coming down at a pretty good clip in some areas tonight; there are already reports of several inches of snowfall on the ground.
It will continue to snow into the early morning hours of Thursday.
Most of the accumulating snow should be done by the 5 or 6AM hour, but there will still likely be some slick areas for the morning commute.
Snowfall totals should range between 2 to 4″ for most of the area, but 5″+ amounts can’t be ruled out, especially if some of these heavier snow bands hold together into Thursday morning.
Fortunately, the snow is very fluffy, so removing several inches of this type of snow is much easier than removing wet and heavy snow. Stay tuned! -Pete Mangione
