We have a batch of energy and cold air moving across the Northeast today, and it will only slowly move across New England on Monday. Due to this disturbance, we’re looking at unsettled weather through Monday.
Showers are expected through Sunday, but mainly during the morning.
The showers which due move through won’t last terribly long and they should be fairly light. There’s also the possibility we get a little graupel, which looks like little styrofoam balls falling from the sky.
The shower chance, although lower, will continue into the evening.
That upper-level energy will continue to move through the region Monday. We’ll likely have lots of clouds around on Monday. and still the chance of showers (especially in the afternoon).
Once we get past Monday, summer-like warmth will begin to push into New England….70s and 80s are possible inland!
