Wouldn’t it be nice to feel normal for once? Of course I am talking about temperatures, and the normal high temperature for Saturday (April 21) is 61°. According to this forecast we don’t quite get to normal, but may get close:
Breezes will be out of the northwest at 5-15mph with some gusts of around 20 mph at times. There may be a few clouds building into the afternoon, especially in eastern Massachusetts.
Lyrid Meteor Shower
With mostly clears skies, there should be good viewing of the Lyrid Meteor Shower tonight, after midnight into the pre-dawn hours of Sunday should provide the best views.
Inland areas may warm into the upper 50s or even low 60s by Sunday afternoon…winds should be a little lighter than Saturday as well. However, sea breezes developing by the afternoon will likely keep the south coast a bit cooler with highs in the mid 50s.
A ridge pattern (something that looks like a mountain top) in the jet stream is forecast to develop next week. While this does not look like a super-warm ridge pattern, at least it will make it more spring-like.
Highs may rise into the low to mid 60s Monday and Tuesday which could actually mean above normal temperatures.
