Good Morning From Chief Meteorologist Tony Petrarca...

A fast moving storm system will bring heavy rain and strong winds later Tonight. Skies will clear Saturday morning setting up for a colder and drier Weekend.

WEATHER TIMELINE...The worst weather will occur from 10PM Tonight through 2AM Saturday

FRIDAY MORNING will start off cool and dry

FLOOD WATCH is in effect for Tonight

Leaf clogged storm drains along with downpours after 10PM will create some street flooding Tonight

7:00PM Friday....heaviest rain will be  just off to our west in nearby Connecticut

11:00PM Friday....Heavy downpours and thunderstorms (red colors) moving through

POTENTIAL WEATHER IMPACTS....

At this point major river flooding is not expected, but will watch closely. Actually the rainstorm next Tuesday has a better chance of creating river flooding, so stay tuned.
