After a day in the 70s on Saturday, we’re looking at cooler weather for Sunday. A cold front will move through the region Sunday morning, a start of unsettled weather here in Southern New England. This unsettled weather will be short-lived, however.
Clouds will thicken through the night.
Notice the showers off to our west. They’ll eventually work into our area Sunday morning.
We’ll see a lot more in the way of clouds on Sunday, too, which will keep the temperatures down. Highs will be around 60 in the afternoon.
The showers for Sunday should be scattered and light in nature. While the best chance of showers will be in the morning, there will still be the chance of showers during the afternoon.
Outdoor activities like baseball, soccer or lacrosse games should only be briefly impacted with light showers.
Monday will be unsettled with a few showers, then a major warm up is on the way this week.
