Despite light winds, the National Weather Service has indicated that there is an “Elevated Fire Risk” through Friday. The air and brush will still be dry. Please, no fire pits or brush burning

A “backdoor cold front” will be working through eastern Massachusetts on Friday. That front will likely stay to our north through the day keeping temperatures in the 80s through early Friday afternoon, but we’ll cool off quickly after 4 or 5 pm
