Weather Now: Cool Unsettled Next Few Days; Occasional Showers

Good Wednesday morning

Wednesday will feature periods of clouds with some limited afternoon sunshine, but still cool. A few isolated showers during the afternoon hours, especially inland away from the coast. There will be periods of dry skies too, so it will not be a “washout”

Another round of showers will arrive late Wednesday night into early Thursday morning. Unfortunately, Thursday looks to be unseasonably cool with highs only in the lower 50s. Some light showers or drizzle Thursday morning

In the extended outlook, we expected much milder air to return just in time for the weekend with highs in the upper 60s to around 70. Sea breezes will keep the immediate shore cooler

WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON 2:00PM A few isolated showers…mostly north and west of Providence

WEDNESDAY EVENING 5:00PM Mix sun and clouds during the late afternoon/early evening hours , but still cool for early May
