Good Saturday Morning

Very cool during the pre-dawn hours with temperatures in the upper 40s to low 50s at daybreak. Saturday looks nice with mostly sunny skies, dry and comfortable. After a very cool start at dawn, temperatures rebound into the upper 70s by afternoon.

Saturday evening and night will continue to be dry and pleasant. Warmer and more humid Sunday with a mix of clouds and sun…..a better part of the daylight hours looks dry. An approaching cold front to our north will bring scattered showers and thunder near or just after sunset Sunday evening. The front will slow down and meander over us into Monday and the net result will be some showers into Labor Day

LABOR DAY WEEKEND: Pleasant Saturday; Showers Sunday Night Into Monday

Labor Day weekend begins with another pleasant late summer day on Saturday. Skies will be mostly sunny with highs near 80 and low humidity.

The humidity and temperatures creep up on Sunday with partly sunny skies with inland highs in the mid 80s. Temperatures will be a bit cooler on the coast both days, with pleasant late summer beach conditions.

An approaching cold front will bring the risk of a hit-or-miss thunderstorm Sunday evening (near or after sunset). That front looks to stall over or near southern New England on Sunday night and Monday, keeping the risk of showers for Labor Day.
