(WPRI) — The idea was born in December 2014. 

Chelsey Poisson was having a conversation with her boyfriend. He served in Iraq in 2007 and 2008. 

What he said next forever changed the course of her work, and life. 

Part of the inspiration for her mission – a soldier she says lost his battle far too soon.
