URI drops to 2-2 with 68-58 loss to Stony Brook


The URI men’s basketball team fell to 2-2 with a 68-58 loss to Stony Brook on Saturday. Cyril Langevine led the Rams in scoring with 15 points and 11 rebounds for his third straight triple double.

“This is part of the process. This is it,” said head coach David Cox after the game. “It’s part of the learning curve for the freshman, and its part of – unfortunately for these guys, particularly these older guys – it’s part of the learning curve for myself, too. Again, I’ve got to do a better job.”

The Rams face in-state opponent Brown on Wednesday, November 28th at the Ryan Center at 7 PM.
