EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Mason Dionne hit a walk-off base hit in the bottom of the seventh inning to clinch Smithfield’s first Rhode Island Little League State Championship in 56 years 2-1 over South Kingstown.

With the win, Smithfield punches its ticket to the Metro Regional in Bristol, Conn.
