SMITHFIELD (WPRI) – Smithfield girls basketball kept its season alive on Monday night in the state tournament play-in round. The Sentinels held off visiting Narragansett, 49-39, at home to advance to the Sweet 16. Smithfield will face No. 2 seed North Kingstown next.
