Providence storms back to beat BC in Game 1 of Hockey East Quarterfinals

After scoring the first goal, but conceding the next three, Providence men’s hockey faced a two-goal deficit in Game 1 of the Hockey East Quarterfinals. From that point on, the Friars scored four of the last five goals in the game which was just enough to outlast Boston College 5-4 in overtime. Both teams return to the ice on Saturday night at 7 p.m. for Game 2 of the best-of-three series.
