(WPRI) — The Providence Bruins defeated the Springfield Thunderbirds 7-3 on Sunday afternoon to win the Atlantic Division, while also clinching home ice advantage for the Calder Cup Playoffs. Chris Wagner had two goals for the Bruins.
Providence finishes the regular season 44-18-8. Their first round opponent in the Calder Cup Playoffs is to be decided.
