WARWICK (WPRI) – Pilgrim girls basketball overcame a slow middle part of the game and turned up the jets to beat Mt. Hope, 53-47, in the preliminary round of the state tournament on Monday night. The Patriots will now travel to face No. 1 seed Juanita Sanchez in the Round of 16.
