WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (WPRI) —  New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft has a hearing scheduled in a Florida courtroom later this month.

It’s unclear if Kraft – whose facing two counts of misdemeanor solicitation of prostitution – will appear in person.

According to court documents released Thursday, it said Kraft was required to appear at Palm Beach County court at 9 a.m. on March 28.

However, the Palm Beach County Court Clerk’s Office later clarified, saying Kraft’s attorney can appear on his behalf.

Kraft. 77, was among hundreds of men charged in a crackdown on massage parlor prostitution and an investigation into human trafficking at Florida spas. Ten spas have been closed and several people, mostly women originally from China, have been charged with running the operation.

Police say they have video of Kraft paying for sexual acts at the Orchids of Asia massage parlor in Jupiter, Florida, the night before and the morning of the Jan. 20 AFC Championship game. He then flew to Kansas City, where he saw his team beat the Chiefs.

Kraft has pleaded not guilty and denies doing anything illegal. He is unlikely to face jail time, but could pay fined and do community service if convicted.
