Rhode Island’s Mike King is quickly rising through the Yankees farm system. Since being traded from the Marlins to the Yankees he has gone from Single-A to the Triple-A pitcher of the month in August. The Bishop Hendricken alum boasted an 11-5 record with a 1.79 ERA and 152 strikeouts.
King says he is hoping to make his case at the Yankees big league camp next spring.
