WOONSOCKET (WPRI) – The wait was worth it. In the first high school hockey game of the winter sports season, Mount Saint Charles won a thriller in come-from-behind fashion to top Smithfield on its home ice 7-4. The Mounties trailed 4-3 entering the third period before they ripped off four unanswered goals. Matt Badeau scored the game-tying goal and Eddie Mulligan’s one-timer was the difference for the hosts. Watch the highlights above.
