Hometown Hero: Oluchi Ezemma

This week’s Cardi’s Furniture & Mattresses Hometown Sports Hero is Moses Brown’s Oluchi Ezemma.

The senior carried the Quakers to their 1st Girls State Title, scoring 40 points with 38 rebounds combined in their Semifinal and Finals victories.

Oluchi will continue her playing career next year at Holy Cross. Crusaders Head Coach Bill Gibbons has won over 600 games in his time in Worcester and has had success with local talent. Former Lincoln High School star Bethany O’Dell scored over 1,400 points in her career and Bishop Feehan grad Lauren Manis led the Patriot League in scoring this season.
