EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Bay View held a signing day celebration on Friday for all-state lacrosse goalie Kate Shields, who made her commitment to the University of Oregon official.

“I’m super excited. It’s been an amazing experience throughout it all, starting the recruiting process all the way until now,” she said. “It’s just been surreal and I’m so excited to start what’s next.”
