BOSTON (WPRI) — The NHL has partnered with Boston Mayor Marty Walsh to host a free outdoor concert and viewing party in Boston’s City Hall Plaza on Monday ahead of game one of the Stanley Cup Final.
The event, which will not require a ticket, will open at 4:30 p.m.
Musical performances by “Old Town Road” artist Lil Nas X and country singer Chase Rice will start at 6 p.m. After the performances, fans are welcome to stay to watch the Bruins-Blues game on video screens.
The event will feature food and beverage offerings including beer, wine and a variety of food truck options. Fans can gear up at the Bruins pop-up shop featuring official Stanley Cup Final merchandise.
Fans are encouraged to minimize the number of personal items they bring and all carried items are subject to inspection to ensure the safety of all visitors to City Hall Plaza.
The Bruins host the St. Louis Blues in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final on Monday at 8 p.m.
