BOSTON (AP) — David Krejci is leaving the Boston Bruins after 14 NHL seasons to continue his hockey career in the Czech Republic.

The 35-year-old says he wants to play in front of family and friends back home.

Krejci won the Stanley Cup with the Bruins in 2011 and was a reliable second-line center.

Krejci has 215 goals and 515 assists for 730 points in 962 regular-season games.

He has 124 points in 156 career playoff games.
