BOSTON (WPRI) — As the Stanley Cup Final shifts back to Boston, two key members of the Bruins’ defense could soon make their return.

Bruins captain Zdeno Chara took the ice for the team’s morning skate on Thursday.

Chara reportedly suffered a broken jaw when he was hit in the face by a deflected puck during the second period of Game 4 on Monday night. The St. Louis Blues won that game 4-2, tying the best-of-seven series at two games apiece.

Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy said Thursday that Chara and his fellow defenseman Matt Grzelcyk will be game-time decisions for Game 5.

Grzelcyk was placed in concussion protocol after he was hit into the boards from behind in Game 2. He rejoined the team for practice on Wednesday.

Puck drop for Game 5 is scheduled for 8 p.m. Thursday at the TD Garden.
