United Way and Hasbro want your kids to get back to the books

The Rhode Show

Today is National Summer Learning Day! Without access to learning opportunities during the summer months, children can lose, on average, up to two months of math skills, regardless of their socioeconomic status. United Way, Hasbro, and our partners in the community have developed and invested in summer learning because we all know the impact it has on the future academic and career success of children in our state — and the long-term impact on our economy.

The United Way joined us to tell us about a program they have to get your kids back to the books.
