The FLY Initiative provides Rhode Island inner city youth with the “gold” standard in financial literacy programming through a dynamic, interactive and engaging semester long program. Students who complete the program participate in an annual award ceremony, held in April in recognition of Financial Wellness Month. Students who complete the program are also eligible to attend an international volunteer opportunity as peer educators and to receive a $500 book scholarship from Rhode Island College as an attending undergraduate student.
