In the Kitchen: Zeppoles the Creative Flavor Way

In the Rhode Show Kitchen today, we welcome Pastry Chef Tonya Audette and Owner Don Depetrillo from The Original Italian Bakery.  They are showing us how to make Zeppoles, the creative flavor way.


For Baileys Creme Filling

  • 1 quart Heavy Cream
  • 10 oz powdered sugar
  • 1 cup of “Baileys” 
  • Splash of Coffee flavoring

For Ricotta Creme Filling

  • 2 pounds Ricotta Cheese
  • 8 ounces powdered sugar
  • Splash of Vanilla extract
  • a pinch of cinnamon


  1. Mix ingredients in a stainless bowl vigorously until whipped creaming texture
  2. Place on the bottom baked shell or whatever shell preferred for the Zeppole experience
