The Children’s Workshop welcomed Governor Gina Raimondo to their Providence location for a special visit. Raimondo took time to read to some preschoolers to promote literacy at a young age. United Way of Rhode Island and Rhode Island Kids Count will host a forum for “Rhode Island Reads: The Campaign for 3rd Grade Reading” on November 2nd at the Rhode Island College Student Union Ballroom. The event is open to all community members and media.
