Pawtucket Wintertime Farmers Market- Snow or shine, the Pawtucket Wintertime Farmers Market is open and brimming with high-quality locally sourced foods. For this season, over 80 vendors will be selling their locally grown products, including vegetables, apples, cranberries and other produce; fish, shellfish, meats, poultry, and eggs; artisanal cheeses, breads, gluten-free and other baked goods; lotions, soaps, cosmetics, candles, honey, pickles, sauces, salsas and preserves; chocolates, lollipops, nuts, juices, teas, coffee and other beverages; prepared foods and food trucks; flowers, plants, wreaths, holiday gifts, and more!
Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular– Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular at Roger Williams Park Zoo is celebrating 30 years of Halloween magic October 4 – November 4. This year’s show includes more than 5,000 intricately carved pumpkins featuring scenes of wizards, fairytales, and the luminaries of great myths and legends, alongside superheroes, and historical figures who changed our world. Revel in the sights and sounds of the season, and celebrate this otherworldly experience. NEW THIS YEAR – join us for special event themed nights. All events are 6 – 8 pm, and included in the price of your Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular ticket.
Newport Restaurant Week– Newport Restaurant Week, part of a nationwide movement, debuted here in 2006 as an annual event to encourage both residents and visitors to Newport and Bristol counties to experience the vast culinary talent in our destination at an affordable price. Today, Newport Restaurant Week takes place both in the spring and in the fall with more than 50 participating restaurants offering extraordinary two-course prix fixe lunches for $20, three-course prix fixe dinners for $35 and a three-course premier prix fixe dinner for $50.
