Rhode Island held a special election on March 2 so voters could decide on a series of bond referendums seeking a total of $400 million worth of borrowing to fund various projects.

Ballot Question 1

$107 million for higher education projects at URI, RIC, CCRI campuses

Ballot Question 2

$74 million to invest in green initiatives at state beaches, campgrounds, parks

Ballot Question 3

$65 million for affordable housing development

Ballot Question 4

$72 million to match federal funds for transportation infrastructure

$15 million for early childhood facilities and the education capital fund

$7 million to preserve arts and culture through funding for Trinity Repertory Company, RI Philharmonic and grant programs
