With just days to go before Rhode Islanders cast their ballots in the 2022 primary election, 12 News is holding a series of televised debates that will showcase where the candidates stand on the biggest issues facing the state and the nation.

On Tuesday night, 12 News hosted a live televised debate between the Democratic candidates for Rhode Island governor. Incumbent Gov. Dan McKee and challengers Nellie Gorbea, Helena Foulkes, and Matt Brown squared off on a wide range of topics important to voters.

The debate was moderated by Target 12 Chief Investigative Reporter Tim White and 12 News Politics Editor Ted Nesi.
