CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — Police in Cranston are looking for a woman who they say held up the Santander Bank on Reservoir Avenue Tuesday morning.
According to police, the white female came into the bank shortly after 10 a.m. and handed a note to a bank teller demanding cash. Police said she got away with around $10,000 in cash.
The woman, captured in surveillance images, is described as about 5′ tall, thin build, and was wearing a black knit cap with a brim, a waist-length two-tone grey or blue coat with stars on the sleeves and shoulders, pink pants and black Ugg-type boots.
Police said once she had the cash, the woman ran out and towards the rear of the bank building.
