Woman, 25, hospitalized after crash in South Kingstown

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WPRI) — A woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a crash in South Kingstown.

Police said the single-vehicle crash happened on Commodore Perry Highway, just north of Green Hill Beach Road in South Kingstown.

According to police, Lauren Pandora, 25, of Charlestown, was driving when her car hit a guard rail.

Police said Pandora had to be extricated from the car. She was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital with serious injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
