It’s a dry and pleasant start to the work week with sunny skies early this afternoon giving way to increasing clouds late day and evening. Temperatures are running slightly cooler than normal with highs near 60 away from the shore. A developing sea breeze will keep the coast a bit cooler.
The rain doesn’t stay away for long. Another fast-moving disturbance will pass to our south tonight into early Tuesday morning brining another round of showers starting after midnight. The rain amounts look light, with less than 1/4″ of rain.
It will be a dreary start Tuesday morning, but most of the rain will taper off by the end of the AM commute.
Even though the calendar flips to May on Wednesday, the active pattern continues, with more rain chances at the end of the week.
