Ya gotta love New England. Tuesday afternoon at 2:23PM, TF Green Airport hit 64°, breaking the old record of 62 set in 1991.

Tuesday evening will be quiet with a blend of clouds and stars and temperatures falling back through the 50s and 40s.

Wednesday starts off with sunny skies, but clouds will be thickening up as we go through the afternoon/evening. Expect dry weather, however, through the evening commute.

Rain overspreads the area Wednesday evening, but in areas north and west of Providence, some freezing rain and a little wet snow is possible. The icing may make untreated surfaces slick Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Generally, 1/10 of an inch of freezing rain is possible.

Because of the threat of freezing rain, a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Kent, Providence and northern Bristol Counties in our area from Wednesday 10pm to Thursdsay 10am.
