An upper level disturbance and weak surface cold front will push off-shore through the afternoon, with a mix of clouds and sun and a breezy northwest wind continuing.
Temperatures will gradually warm over the next few days, with breezy winds during the day and dry cool nights.
Meanwhile, a major winter storm is taking shape across the central and northern Plains into the Midwest bringing blizzard conditions and some significant snowfall accumulations.
That storm will track well to the north and west of us, keeping the worst of the storm (and the wintry weather) away from New England. That said, its cold front will eventually swing across New England bringing a round of showers on Friday night into Saturday morning.
