Waterfront Reggae Festival comes to Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — This weekend, the Waterfront Reggae Festival made its debut in Providence.

The event was held Saturday at India Point Park – marking its sixth year of “positive vibrations.”

The festival was previously held at the Newport Yachting Center.

Grammy-winning band Steel Pulse lead the 10-hour-long party Saturday. The day was complete with authentic Jamaican food and an artisan marketplace.

The event wrapped at 10 p.m.
