WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) – The Warwick Police Department released video Thursday hoping it will help them track down the man they say robbed the Cilantro Mexican Grill on Post Road last week.

The crime happened Aug. 11. According to police, the man showed a handgun, demanded money, and then left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Officers and a K9 then combed the area looking for him.

Police ask that the public watch the below video in its entirety, as it contains several clues – including the mannerisms of the suspect.

Police say the white man appeared to be around 6-feet-tall in his mid to late 20s. He reportedly had blonde or brown hair and was wearing a long sleeve gray shirt and white shorts.

It is possible the man ran down Guilfold Drive and may have jumped into a getaway on Airway Road, according to police.

Anyone with information should contact Detective Patrick McGaffigan at 401-468-4253 or the Warwick Police Department’s general line at 401-468-4200.
