SCHOHARIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Schoharie District Attorney Susan Mallery has handed up an indictment to Judge Bartlett in county court.

Mallery confirmed Nauman Hussain has been indicted on 20 counts of manslaughter and 20 counts of criminally negligent homicide.

Hussain, the operator of Prestige Limousine, was charged in connection to the tragic crash that killed 20 people in Schoharie.

He will be arraigned on Wednesday.

Hussain’s attorney, Lee Kindlon, released the following statement:

We have not been formally served with the indictment, need to take our time and go through it once we do. My client maintains his innocence, and we look forward to appearing in court where we can convey that.
