PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Fire officials were called out to a vacant house fire in Providence just after midnight Saturday.
Crews worked to put out a three-alarm fire that damaged two homes on Holden Street.
According to Deputy Assistant Fire Chief Varone, Eyewitness News has learned the fire appears to have started on the exterior between the two buildings.
Arson investigators were called in to determine the exact origin of the fire and whether it was set intentionally.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
