BOSTON, Mass (WPRI) — As the Boston Bruins wait for the Stanley Cup Final to begin, the team is planning to host a charitable scrimmage and fans are invited.

An intrasquad scrimmage is scheduled for Thursday, May 23 at 7 p.m. at TD Garden.

The Bruins will split into two teams and play two 25-minute periods, with two referees on the ice. Tickets can be purchased online and are $20 a person and $10 for season ticket holders and “game plan” holders.

All kids in attendance will receive free popcorn. Net proceeds from the event will benefit the Boston Bruins Foundation.

The Bruins will take on the St. Louis Blues in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final, set for Memorial Day on May 27.
