Somerset boil water advisory could be lifted Tuesday

North Providence mayor takes initiative to remove lead water pipes

SOMERSET, Mass. (WPRI) — A precautionary boil water advisory for Somerset could be lifted on Tuesday.

The advisory went into effect after a water main break on Saturday morning.

A spokesperson for the Water and Sewer Department said this a proactive and in concern for the safety of our customers.

They are collecting samples today and Monday and if those tests confirm that the water is safe, they expect the advisory to be lifted on Tuesday.
