SMITHFIELD, R.I. (WPRI) — Police arrested two people at a Cedar Swamp Road restaurant Tuesday night and charged them with several drug crimes.

After a two-month investigation, police detectives said Wednesday, they believe a female employee had been selling cocaine from the restaurant, Copperfield’s Burger and Beer House.

A Johnston woman, Alaina C. Bonafiglia, 33, is charged with possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, possession of cocaine, possession of buprenorphine hydrochloride and conspiracy to violate the Uniform Controlled Substance Act.

John F. Manfredi, 39, of Providence, is charged with possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, possession of cocaine, and conspiracy to violate the Uniform Controlled Substance Act.

Both were held overnight pending arraignment Wednesday at Kent County District Court.
