PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) – Police are searching for three suspects in an alleged hatchet attack.

Pawtucket Police were called to a home on Cole Street for a reported home invasion, that’s where they found a man with a severe head injury.

A man and woman were home at the time and tell police three masked men forced their way into the home and demanded money. The male victim says one of the suspects hit him in the head with a hatchet.

The suspects wore bandanas covering their faces, but two of the victims were described as: a tall, white male in his early 20s and a short Hispanic male in his late teens. The victims say they did not get a good look at the third man.
