PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — After 18 years, The Red Fez at 49 Peck Street is shutting its doors for good.

The restaurant and bar announced the decision to its Facebook followers on Friday, saying, “It’s been an honor to be a part of the Providence dining and drinking scene. But all good things must end some day.”

The business plans to keep serving patrons until March 30, so those who love the restaurant still have time to enjoy a final “fez mac and cheese.”

The owners said the building has been sold, and they will be moving on to “new adventures.”
