EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – Former CVS executive Helena Foulkes said she had no plans to run for public office until the pandemic hit.

“I see myself as really different in the race,” Foulkes said Friday in a wide-ranging interview on WPRI 12’s Newsmakers. “Because I have never been a politician.”

In the video above, Foulkes discusses why she jumped into the race, her priorities, her criticism of Gov. Dan McKee as COVID cases rise, and more.
