WESTPORT, Mass. (WPRI) — Police in Westport arrested a local man on drug charges last week.

According to police, 37-year-old Andrew Erickson was arrested Friday after an investigation into a home on Horseneck Road yielded approximately 200 pounds of marijuana.

Police said the pot was vacuum sealed into individual packages and was labeled based on the flavor of marijuana inside. Police also located a small amount of cocaine and more than $10,000 in cash.

Erickson was arraigned in Fall River District Court on Monday. He’s charged with trafficking marijuana over 100 pounds and possession of cocaine, both of which are felonies.
