Police: Shots fired into vacant Portsmouth home

PORTSMOUTH, R.I. (WPRI) — Police are investigating after someone fired several rounds into an unoccupied home in Portsmouth early Monday morning.

Officers responded just before 10 a.m. to 119 Seaconnet Blvd. after receiving a call about possible shots fired and a shattered window, according to police.

Upon searching the area, they determined six rounds were discharged into the home, which police said is currently under construction.
