Acushnet stabbing suspects

ACUSHNET, Mass. (WPRI) — Police are working to track down a pair of suspects after a man was stabbed and robbed in Acushnet.

In a Facebook post Monday, Acushnet police said they have arrest warrants out for Nathan Rose-Morey and Michelle Hayduk in connection with the incident on the night of Wednesday, Aug. 1.

Officers responded around 9:45 p.m. to a report of a man bleeding and arrived to find he had suffered multiple stab wounds. He was taken to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment.

The victim told police he was in a vehicle with two acquaintances when they suddenly turned on him and started stabbing him. The man managed to escape the vehicle, according to police, and the suspects drove off.

Rose-Morey, 29, of New Bedford and Yarmouth, and Hayduk, 29, of South Dennis, are believed to be operating a white 2016 Nissan Rogue with Mass. Reg. 1DWG81, police said.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call the Acushnet Police Department at (508) 998-0240.
